Secure Online Donations for The Mothers' Union

The Mothers' Union (MU) is a global charity with more than 3.6 million members worldwide running local projects, supporting international campaigns, and fundraising in areas such as parental rights, international debt relief and child poverty.
As an extension to the existing CMS site we developed for the Mothers' Union earlier this year, the MU asked if we could create a new area of the site where visitors could make online donations via Credit/Debit card.
We set-up a secure web-based donations facility and seamlessly integrated it into the existing Mothers' Union web site. As a charity, Gift Aid can also be claimed back from the UK Government by the person making the donation. By ticking a box on our donation page this allows the MU to claim an additional 28p for each £1 donated at no extra expense to the donor.
