The Fire Beam 3D Model

The Fire Beam Company have recently developed an innovative new fire detection device which tackles the reliability issues often associated with such devices.

The unit features 'intelligent' optical beams that can adjust themselves in order to overcome issues such as building movement which can often cause misalignment in similar devices currently on the market.

The appearance of the unit was an important factor to its creators and a number of ideas were considered before the final design was selected.

The Fire Beam Company provided us with a set of sketches which we used to produce a 3D model (shown to the right). The model was rendered from multiple viewpoints so they could view it from any desired angle, allowing them to have confidence in committing to their chosen design.

Our 3D model allowed The Fire Beam Company to proceed with their design, avoiding the cost of an expensive 'dummy' being built for their approval - saving them both time and money.
