Global pricing database launched for PRWT

We have recently designed a secure web-based system for our client Pernod Ricard World Trade, to simplify the collection, maintenance and storage of global pricing data. Accessed via a friendly graphical user interface, the tool allows PRWT to keep track of prices for own brand and competitor brand products at sales locations around the world.

The previous method relied on the company's sales agents entering the figures onto paper-based information sheets. These sheets were then sent to PRWT's head office where the data was manually entered into spreadsheets. This method was not only difficult to manage, but the large amount of data entry proved to be extremely time consuming. This new system not only tackles these issues but also provides sales managers with a single point of reference for current and historical pricing trends.

Any number of products or locations can be easily cross referenced to produce fully customised reports. Sales managers can perform statistical analysis on the figures and create graphical charts based on the relevant data.

The system also includes a tool for managing up-to-date currency conversion rates, allowing prices to be viewed or converted into any of the available currencies.
