Tasty Little Cakes

Based in London, Tasty Little Cakes (TLC) is a new business venture offering home-baked cakes, cupcakes and brownies, freshly made to order for parties, gifts and special occasions. Using traditional recipes and quality ingredients they create unique, fun and contemporary design products, custom made for every order.

Tasty Little Cakes had already seen some of the current websites we've designed and got in touch, asking us to create a unique, stylish and friendly identity for their new business together with a website to promote their work and sell their products online.

The site not only showcases their products via a Gallery section but also offers an online shop where you can buy any of the cakes on show and have them delivered to your door. Using a traditional shopping basket system the user can compile their order, customise it, and then checkout online.

The photography for the website has been carried out by TLC themselves and they've really mastered the art of cake photography, supplying us with some of the best imagery we've ever been given to work with. If you like cake or you appreciate photography (or like us, you appreciate both!) then you'll see what we mean if you visit their website. Simply mouth-watering! Tasty Little Cakes are extremely pleased with the finished website and are planning on expanding both the website and their range of products over time. The site has also received some very complimentary reviews from many of their satisfied customers.

Prior to building the website we first created the TLC identity. The final logo and company style is shown alongside and this style was carried across their stationery, including business cards, stickers and labels which feature as part of their packaging and presentation. The identity really captured the traditional, home-made look that TLC were looking to establish for their business and they were very pleased with our work.
