J&G Environmental
J&G Environmental are a waste management company based in Dorset. They specialise in waste control to the printing, photographic and healthcare industries, providing expertly-managed collection, treatment, disposal and recycling services to thousands of customers throughout England and Wales.
We have worked closely with J&G since we developed their first website back in 2004 and were delighted when they asked us to handle the upgrade and redesign of their existing website. The new site has been completely redesigned and uses a wider layout to take full advantage of the large screen sizes in common use today.
New site additions include a series of promotional videos introducing J&G and the services they offer. We converted the original film from DVD and edited and re-encoded into six separate movies for display on both the website and on YouTube.
Another of the main features of the new site is a 'Waste Streams Explained' section where website visitors can find out exactly what happens to a particular waste product, step by step, from collection through to it being recycled or turned into a reusable product, such as horse bedding. These guides are available on the site as flowchart diagrams in PDF format so they can be downloaded and printed, if desired, making them a useful educational resource.
