European Motorbike Touring
European Motorbike Touring is a brand new collection of ten breath-taking motorbike tours through France - devised by a biker for bikers alike. The package contains a book of user friendly directions and stunning photographs, together with a separate road map of France showing all the touring routes individually colour highlighted, plus a handy set of A5 route direction cards.
The author, Peter Wills, contacted Project24 after receiving a recommendation from one of our existing clients and asked us to handle the design and build of a new website to promote and sell his new book online.
We had already worked with the book designer on previous occasions and were able to start developing ideas for the site with Peter whilst the book was still in its infancy. We also advised on various technical and monetary aspects of selling the book online, prior to building the shopping basket and checkout elements of the website.
Once the artwork for the book and maps had been established we started work on the website, using many of the great landscape photographs taken during the research period of the book to create a 'Photo Gallery' section showing users what they can expect. The site also features testimonials from some of the bikers who have followed the book and experienced the tours first hand.
The whole package can be bought online, directly from the website, with automatic worlwide postage calculated during the checkout stage. When ready to place an order the visitor can pay via credit card, debit card or PayPal, using a secure online checkout. Every transaction is handled by our preferred payment processing company, SecureTrading. 
We have a relationship with SecureTrading that allows us to access preferential commission rates that are not publicly available, so we can pass those savings directly on to our clients.
